  • No need for a slab splitter. Produce individual loaves directly, saving both equipment cost and production time.
  • Perfect square loaves every time. Rigid stainless-steel panels help maintain straight sides, clean corners, and consistent loaf dimensions.
  • Dent-free unmolding. Loaves can be removed as soon as they have formed enough structure to hold their shape—even while they are still slightly warm or soft. Because you are not flexing or peeling away a silicone mold, there is less risk of denting or deforming the loaf.
  • Electropolished stainless-steel finish. The stainless-steel panels are electropolished to create an exceptionally smooth, hygienic surface with enhanced corrosion and chemical resistance—ideal for repeated exposure to soap batter, oils, fragrances, and routine cleaning.
  • Easy to clean. Electropolishing reduces microscopic surface roughness, giving soap residue fewer places to cling and making the panels faster and easier to clean.
  • No coating to peel or flake. Electropolishing improves the stainless steel itself rather than adding a painted or plated surface layer, so there is no coating to wear away during normal use.
  • Odor and fragrance resistant. The smooth, nonporous stainless-steel surface does not absorb fragrance oils or retain scents under normal use, helping prevent fragrance carryover from one batch to the next—an important advantage over silicone molds, which may retain strong fragrances.
  • Smooth, professional surfaces. The rigid electropolished panels help produce beautifully smooth loaf surfaces while minimizing sticking and surface imperfections.
  • Convertible. Convert the mold into a slab-style configuration for creative swirl designs and other artistic techniques.
  • Stackable and space-saving. Set up the mold inside a suitable clear container with a lid and stack multiple containers vertically to save valuable workspace during production.
  • Versatile loaf sizes and production capacity. Configure the mold to make different loaf sizes and produce only the number of loaves you need for each batch.

Setup & Handling

⚠️ VERY IMPORTANT SETUP STEP

Always assemble the mold on a flat, sturdy board, tray, or inside a sturdy, flat-bottomed container before pouring. The collapsible design requires firm support underneath. Once the mold is filled, never lift, slide, tilt, rotate, or relocate the mold by itself—always move it together with its supporting board, tray, or container.

  • Choose one of three support options: Set up the mold on a sturdy, flat board, tray, or inside a sturdy, flat-bottomed clear container with a lid. All three options provide firm support for the silicone base and make the filled mold easier and safer to handle.
  • For a board or tray setup: After pouring, place a second flat board across the tops of the two side panels. The side panels are intentionally designed to extend higher than the soap loaves, allowing the top board to rest securely on the panels without touching the soap batter. Then cover the entire setup with a cloth, towel, or blanket for insulation.
  • For a clear lidded-container setup: Simply place the lid on the container after pouring. The container provides support, protection, and added insulation, so no additional top board or cloth covering is needed. A clear container also lets you observe color changes and gel progression without disturbing the mold.
  • Stable for tapping, tilting, and rotating. The silicone base grips the supporting surface, helping keep the mold stable while you gently tap out trapped air or carefully tilt or rotate the entire setup to create interesting soap patterns.
  • Clear, insulated, stackable, and neatly organized. When using lidded clear containers, multiple molds can be stacked during production, helping keep batches protected and organized while saving valuable workspace.

Caution: After pouring, always move the mold together with its supporting board, tray, or container. Never attempt to relocate a filled mold without full support underneath, as this may shift the panels or cause leakage.

Use With or Without Liners

Without liners: Brush a sufficient yet thin layer of fractionated coconut oil, MCT oil, or another light, stable liquid oil onto all panel surfaces that will come into contact with the soap. Loaves can typically be unmolded about 8–10 hours after pouring, as soon as they are firm enough to handle without denting.

With liners: Optional liners (included in the set) can allow even earlier removal. Once the loaves are fully solidified but still slightly soft and tacky to the touch, remove them from the silicone base with the liners still attached. With an additional silicone base, you can immediately reassemble the mold for the next batch, potentially shortening your production cycle by several hours.

MultiLoaf™ Collapsible 55 Tall-Bar Soap Mold is the upgrade version of our MultiMold™ Collapsible 55 Square-Bar Soap Mold. It makes 2.75" x 2.75" square bars OR longer bars up to 3.5" tall. It is an interlocked soap mold, consists of eight pieces of 14 gauge (2mm) heavy-duty stainless steel panels, one silicon pad, twenty pieces of linings.

Our MultiMold™ Collapsible 55 Square-Bar Soap Mold comes with a silicone pad with grooves that hold the interlocked structure in place and make installation super easy. When it is time to remove the soaps from the mold, simply pull out the panels from the pad.

You can take it apart for easy storage when you are finished with your project. It produces 55 bars of 1"x 2.75" x 3.5" soaps per use, total approximately 20 Lbs.

The whole structure is compact, precise, easy to use and make five perfectly square soap loaves.

It makes 1~5 loaves each time depending on how many chambers are filled up. It can be easily converted to a slab mold by only installing four outer panels and covering the gaps on the panels with polyester liners (included).

Why do you use stainless steel?

We use stainless steel because it’s durable, non-porous, and easy to clean. For soapmakers, that means less residue and faster reset between batches—especially after fragrance oils, colorants, and butters. Stainless steel also resists corrosion and wear, so your tools stay beautiful and perform consistently for years.

Why do all LiluSoap Tools® have an electropolished finish?

Electropolishing is a premium finishing process for stainless steel that creates an ultra-smooth, clean surface. This helps reduce buildup from soap residue, oils, colorants, and fragrance—so cleanup is quicker and your workflow stays consistent. It also improves 40X corrosion resistance and helps your tools keep their polished look after repeated use.
